Notable scholar and lauded social commentator, Michael Eric Dyson expressed his disapproval of a Maryland-based Baptist Minister’s protest methods via a column in Monday’s Atlanta Journal Constitution.
It appears that the minister’s distaste for today’s hip-hop music lead him to protest BET’s newly born Hip-Hop Awards by protesting at the home of the network’s CEO, Debra Lee.
The program made its inaugural debut last year and its gearing up for its second annual show to be aired on the BET in mid October.
