An employee of the club where 24 year-old Ingrid Rivera was found dead Wednesday after attending female rapper Lil Kim’s birthday bash, has confessed to the murder.
The young woman was last seen by friends after having an altercation with the club manager for being in the men’s bathroom with alcohol. She was then handled and separated by bouncers from friends over her drinking and was exited from the Club and was never seen or heard from again.
On yesterday, she was identified by her mother, Ingrid Estrada who lives with her. Estrada, a single mother, had filed a missing person report on Tuesday for her only child Ingrid Rivera, after she didn’t return home after attending the birthday party on Sunday.
According to a pre-forensic examination, evidence showed blunt force trauma.
On Thursday, Sayed Rahman, 24, who worked stocking shelves and fetching ice at the Spotlight Live club, told investigators that he saw Rivera on the streets and targeted her because she appeared to be drunk. Rahman told her that he could get her back in the club and lured her on the rooftop and sources state that he allegedly tried to rob and rape her. Rahman struck Rivera in the back of the head and stuffed her body into the electrical room closet.
According to friends, Rivera attempted to give flowers to rapper Lil’ Kim before her death. She was a ticket agent for British Airways at JFK Airport.
