“Don’t do drugs… unless it’s with Three 6 Mafia,” were the words of Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J to concert-goers before claiming that “This section right here smells like weed,” regarding the area where he along with Three 6 Mafia’s DJ Paul were performing on Friday.

At the Convocation Center at James Madison University (JMU) in Harrisonburg, Virginia, the two performed during the Spring concert series along with Girl Talk, who is also known as DJ Gregg Gillis, according to The Breeze.

The concert reportedly produced mixed feelings about Three 6 Mafia performing that night with some concertgoers saying they didn’t like Three 6 Mafia at the show while others were glad the group performed.

Earlier in the show during Juicy J’s weed comment, the rapper also asked: “Any of y’all want to give me your weed?” referring to the supposed weed smell he claimed he smelled.

“Three 6 was the part I didn’t like, I could just do without them,” JMU junior Paige Mixon told The Breeze.

Mixon didn’t seem thrown by Juicy J’s comment, but more by the fact that “They didn’t even play their entire songs,” he said in disappointment

The group also attempted to stir the crowd up urging one man, who was wearing a Three 6 Mafia T-shirt, to force his way through the security guards and make it to the stage for a reward of $100. The man, however, was unsuccessful at his attempt and was later escorted back to his seat by security.

Three 6 Mafia is currently performing at various concert dates while each member prepares to support DJ Paul’s upcoming solo album Scale-A-Ton slated for release on May 5th, 2009 and Juicy J’s solo album Hustle Till I Die slated for release on June 2, 2009.
