Yet again, rapper DMX was arrested on Wednesday for violating a bond stemming from another arrest. This is the rapper’s fifth arrest in the last couple of months.
According to numerous reports, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who spent more than 25 years in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, stated that the rapper hasn’t learned his lesson and he hopes to get the rapper into the prison’s pink underwear, which is a known prison practice in which prisoners are forced to wear old-fashioned prison stripes and pink underwear and listen to bedtime story reading, a self-styled literacy program broadcast nightly to the inmates.
This arrest for DMX sums up to be the fifth one in the last couple of months. As previously reported on MemphisRap.com, the rapper was arrested on June 27 after he attempted to buy street drugs from an undercover narcotics officer in Florida. He was arrested also on the dates of May 7, May 9, and June 23 on several other charges and violations.
In December of 2007, DMX signed a recording deal with Bodog Music which is the music division of Canadian online gaming company Bodog Entertainment to release his upcoming album, “Walk with Me Now and You’ll Fly with Me Later”. The album which will be his seventh studio album, is planned to be released in late 2008.
