Chief Keef Stepbrother, Rapper YPN Boomtown Shot Dead, Gunned Down In Chicago

The step-brother of ‘I Don’t Like’ rapper Chief Keef was killed, gunned down while in a car on last week in Chicago. Ulysses “Chris” Gissendanner III, 19, known by the rap name YPN Boomtown was killed after allegedly visiting his uncle in West Pullman.

Gissendanner, who stayed behind in Chicago while his family moved to Arkansas to reportedly pursue his education and music career, is related to Chief Keef through a marriage. Gissendanner’s mother, Aridecy Tate was married to Chief Keef’s father Alfonzo Cozart but divorced in 2012.

Gissendanner, who’s lyrical style was different from Chief Keef, was shot in the head, according to authorities. Gissendanner was transported to the Roseland Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, police believe that Gissendanner was not the target of the shooting.
