Chevrolet is preparing to release a new 2015 Corvette Z06 with a new LT4 6.2 Liter supercharged V8 delivering 625 horsepower under the hood and with the “brains blown out” — that means convertible if you’ve never heard that before.
The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 convertible (drop-top) is set to debut in an appearance at the New York International Auto Show.
General Motors’ executive vice president, Mark Reuss, calls the new Z06 “a world-class supercar” claiming “only a handful of convertibles in the world” come with more than 600 horsepower.
As far as how fast a car like this would perform, let’s just say that it is split-second fast.
The Chevrolet Z06 Convertible could be capable of 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds, out-performing most any average sports car.
One of the other impressive features of the Z06 is after you the speed drop it down from 60 to under 30 MPH the power-folding top on the convertible can come down at any speeds up to 30 MPH.
