Kim Pham, a graduate of Chapman University and an aspiring talk show host, described by friends as someone with a big heart, has been pronounced dead after being brutally beaten while waiting in line outside a Santa Ana nightclub in Orange County California.
The 23 year-old, who was also a blogger, was left brain dead after her severe beaten and was placed on life support.
After not being able to recover from her wounds, which left her unconscious on the sidewalk outside the Crosby Nightclub in Santa Ana, California, Pham was taken off life support and died shortly after 12PM Tuesday.
Authorities say the 23 year-old along with friends got into an argument with another group while waiting in line to enter the night club. The argument turned physical and reportedly five or more people severely beat Pham unconscious and part of the incident was caught on video tape.
While the details of the fight remain sketchy, some sources claim it was over Kim Pham accidentally photobombing (stepping in a photo unexpectedly) a picture being taken by the other group.
Santa Ana police have arrested one suspect described as a woman in her twenties, while four other suspects, two men and two women, remain at large.
A memorial for Kim Pham of flowers and other sentiments continue to grow outside the nightclub were the incident took place.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 714-245-8390.
