Bobby Brown Kisses Whitney Houston’s Casket, Leaves Funeral: Details (Photos)

Bobby Brown reportedly left out during his ex-wife Whitney Houston’s funeral, which was held at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey over the weekend on Saturday, after a reported seating issue, and more.

Bobby Brown, who in some reports, showed up to the funeral with six people, while other reports say 9 people, was apparently not seated with family, friends, but later seated then moved to other seating.

Brown reports the moved seating happened on “three separate occasions” and he “failed to understand” why he and his family were treated the way he claims they were treated at his ex-wife Whitney Houston’s funeral.

At one point, Bobby Brown claims he went to console his grieving daughter, Bobbi Kristina but was refused access to her.

Brown says at some point after all that, he “gave a kiss to the casket” of his ex-wife Whitney Houston and “departed” because he refused to “create a scene” over the way he and his family were being treated.

Rev. Al Sharpton defended Bobby later claiming Bobby “showed nothing but love and respect for Whitney” and he “wish people would leave him alone.”

Bobby Brown later released a statement regarding leaving Whitney Houston’s funeral to explain why he left after he and his children were invited to ex-wife Whitney Houston’s funeral.

“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi Kristina.”

“In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. … I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”
