Paramount Vantage has launched the new trailer and official site for the upcoming movie “Black Snake Moan” written and directed by Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow) starring Samuel L. Jackson and Christina Ricci.

Paramount Vantage has launched the new trailer and official site for the upcoming movie “Black Snake Moan” written and directed by Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow) starring Samuel L. Jackson and Christina Ricci. The movie is about a God-fearing bluesman (Jackson) that takes to a wild young woman (Ricci) who, as a victim of childhood sexual abuse, looks everywhere for love, never quite finding it.

The film also stars Justin Timberlake, S. Epatha Merkerson, John Cothran, Michael Raymond-James, and features rapper David Banner and legendary singer Ruby Wilson.

The movie was produced by John Singleton, Stephanie Allain and executive producer Ron Schmidt.

“Black Snake Moan” is due to hit movie theaters on February 23.
