Beef leads to record sales and publicity

Beef in the entertainment world is very similar to that of ordinary people. They began with someone disliking something someone else does to them for some reason. Normally they do not lead to anything, but occasionally the beef leads to fights or even worst in the entertainment world of lawsuits. Many celebrities have filed lawsuits in the past years not really for the money but for the publicity that it receives.

Names like Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey and David Letterman, Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens have all been in the spotlight for their disagreements in the past. Most of these beefs have ended in nothing but broken friendships. Memphis rappers Yo Gotti and Miscellaneous can attest to this type of situation.
