Atlanta’s very own Big Boi of Outkast with special guests Sleepy Brown and Janelle were in the house at Detroit’s State Theatre, Monday, November 6 for KOOL’s XL Launch Party. Needless to say that the performers gave residents of Detroit a show to hold on to as great memories, for decades to come.
Although my press contacts were screwed, and I wasn’t able to get actual interviews from neither Big Boi nor Sleepy Brown, I had a marvelous time and got some dibbs on some of Big Boi’s upcoming projects.
As stated during his performance, Big Boi is working on yet another big screen project, and he also added that Andre (Outkast) was in Atlanta, at Stankonia, doing what he does best-working on some new hits for all of us!! So we’ll definitely be keeping an eye and ear out for these! But if there’s anyone out there who can help me get even closer to the trend-setting Outkast members, I’d be much appreciative, LOL!!
