“Unbelievable” was the word used by Aretha Franklin to the media when she says she heard about the death of Prince from a doorman that stopped her as she was coming outside of her hotel.
Legendary singer and songwriter Lionel Richie said that he was in “total shock” and couldn’t believe either after hearing the news.
Even President Barack Obama himself stated in a statement that “the world lost a creative icon” with the death of Prince.
Oprah Winfrey added that “the doves are really crying now.”
