An Introduction to MemphisRap.com in 2006

Well, what a time it’s been! We’re turning 5 years old in 2006 and, since we launched in 2001, the growth of the site has not stopped! We’ve been through three servers, with the last transfer in 2005 being our worst and best move since we launched. Worst being that we lost more information than we expected due to a faulty backup and best being that we are now more stable and solid than ever thanks to being on top-notch servers and having top-notch new server administrators.

Now as far as 2005, it was a great year; we got more upgrades to the site than in previous years, we learned more about how important time management is; we made great new partners including our latest partnership with Citadel/Memphis Radio Group’s Power 99 FM and more.

Now, moving into 2006, we plan for this to be our greatest year ever! We’re introducing our second annual MemphisRap.com Urban Music Showcase, this time with a big surprise; we’re starting up our monthly parties which will be the hottest new spot for Industry people and fans to connect, mingle and prosper; we’re starting recording of our first volume of MemphisRap.com compilation albums; releasing a HOT new Memphis Honeys calendar; and we’re celebrating our 5th Year Anniversary with an ultimate birthday bash!
