Former American Idol Winner Carrie Underwood Announces She’s Pregnant With Her First Baby

Nashville, Tennessee based singing star Carrie Underwood, who was launched into fame after winning American Idol, has announced she is pregnant with her first baby.

Carrie Underwood is of course pregnant by her husband NHL player Mike Fisher.

Underwood and Fisher posted the big announcement via their social media accounts on Monday, September 1, 2014.

The multi-Grammy award-winning star, who has sold over 15 million albums, is 31 years-old and excited about being a mommy for the first time.

Fisher is a 34 year-old center for the pro hockey team, The Nashville Predators.

In related news, Underwood is set to co-host the upcoming County Music Association Awards just months away in November along with co-host Brad Paisley.
