Akon’s New Book "Thug Politics" To Release Under C-Murder’s Tru Publishing

TRU Publishing by Corey Miller known as C-Murder has brought on Akon to release his book entitled ‘Thug Politics’.

TRU Publishing created by Corey Miller better known as C-Murder, Master P’s younger brother from No Limit Soliders, is taking book reading to a new height. With the first release of TRU Publishing’s debut novel last month, “Grown & Gangsta,” written by Florida rapper Jacki-O, the company has since then brought on singer/producer Akon of Convict Music, who will be releasing his book entitled “Thug Politics” under the company. The book is stated to be releasing in late April or early May 2008 with a tour to soon follow.

According to Conversations Book Club President Cyrus A. Webb, they will be working to coordinate a literary campaign by the Summer of ’08 with C-Murder, Jacki-O and Akon to help promote literacy amongst children and teens.

In 2006, C-Murder released his debut novel prior to starting TRU Publishing entitled, “Death Around The Corner” selling 70,000 and which also received a 5-star rating through Amazon. In 2007, Miller embarked on a successful book tour with Conversations Book Club, being featured on FOXNews.com, NBC and other media outlets.

On June 9, the rapper’s retrial for allegedly shooting and killing a 16-year-old will begin.
