A.C. Wharton Rescues Three Year Old From Busy Intersection

Shelby County Mayor A.C. Wharton Rescues a three year old from East Parkway.

Today a very surprised mother was at home when the mayor of Shelby County A.C. Wharton brought her three year old son to her. Wharton said he was backing up out of his drive-way when he saw a three year old all alone. He thankfully got him before he was hit by a car.

The toddler was in the neighborhood of Tanglewood and East Parkway. He was supposed to be watched by his brother but when his brother left him he had to find his way home. It was heavy traffic and he had already crossed East Parkway.

Tonight the toddler is home safe with his mother after quite an eventful day.
