Seems that some students thought it would be a good idea to ‘twerk‘ on school time using school equipment and put the video on YouTube – bad idea.
Over 30 students at Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego made a twerking video that has gotten them ALL suspended, stripped from the privilege of walking down the aisle during graduation and banned from the prom.
In the students twerking video, which was created by students in a journalism class at the Scripps Ranch High School, teenaged girls are twerking while doing handstands apparently at school to an uncut YG song.
After filming the video, someone thought it would be a good idea to upload the video to YouTube, even though the students apparently first skipped class to film the video, and used school video equipment to film the video of them twerking reportedly while on school grounds.
Some are calling what the teens did a modern day Footloose while others are taking to Twitter with the hastag #FreeTheTwerkTeam.
