12 Yr Old Memphis Boy Charged With Rape Of 9 Yr Old Boy In Woods After School

Memphis police are investigating an allegation by a 9-year-old boy’s elementary school that he was raped by another 12 year old middle school boy in the woods after school.

Police Inspector Lee Covey says that officials at Farmington Elementary School in Germantown, TN, the 9-year-old victim’s elementary school, are claiming the pre-teen told a school’s counselor about the rape.

The school officials reported the rape to police on Monday.

A 12-year-old student who attends Houston Middle School also located in Germantown, TN is the alleged boy who committed the rape.

According to the 9 year old rape victim, the incident happened last Wednesday in the woods near his home.

No names has been released as of yet on either boy – the victim or the alleged.

Parents of 9-year-old boy have not made any statements as of yet and neither have parents of the alleged 12 year old as well.

The 12 year old Houston Middle School student was charged with rape on Tuesday afternoon, however, officials with the Memphis and Shelby County Juvenile Court say the boy accused of raping the 9 year old has since been released on bond and referred to clinical services as of Wednesday.
