L’Daialogue DiCaprio – Bluff City Daialogue Mixtape

Bluff City Daialogue, the title track of Memphis emcee L’Daialogue DiCaprio’s latest project is as self-explanatory as it gets. Memphis, Tennessee’s musical history spans as far as Elvis Presley to Three 6 Mafia and everything in between and here stands another chapter in that history.

SEA Nominee L’Daialogue DiCaprio’s project has him teaming up with Memphis DJ phenomenon DJ Kenny Kaign of the Future Star DJ’s. This DJ/ emcee collaboration project does not disappoint either with production from underground mainstay MiZUnderstatistic and North Carolina upstart J-Snizzy.

The lead buzz single “The Unofficial Story of MemphisRap” has L’Daialogue literally retelling the story of Memphis rap’s history from its early underground beginning all the way until present day. The 9 minute opus tackles the ups-and-downs of the Memphis rap music scene from an objective view and weaves together the story into a string-tingled slow-based groove indicative of the Beale Street bluesy-soul style that influences the sound on to this day.

With this being one of their first projects together, this is certainly a “certified” classic in the streets of Memphis, the whole South and beyond.
