Justin Timberlake Is Dead, Says Facebook, Twitter Ad (Pictures)

As of today (Dec. 1, 2010), Justin Timberlake is dead, at least to the virtual world of Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites. Justin Timberlake, along with other celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Serena Williams, Usher, Swizz Beatz, and more are all participating in a charity for world AIDS day (December 1, 2010), and the celebs will not be on Facebook or Twitter.

Timberlake and others are giving up Facebook, Twitter and other social networking websites until they have raised $1 million dollars for the organization “Keep a Child Alive,” reports HipHopRX.com.

The ‘dead to Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites’ campaign is being dubbed the “Digital Life Sacrifice” campaign for the world AIDS day.

In an ad for the campaign, Justin Timberlake can be seen in a photograph with a bouquet of funeral flowers surrounding his picture.

Justin Timberlake also created a promotional video for the event about giving up his digital life.

“Hey, I’m Justin Timberlake. This is my last tweet and testament. That’s right @jtimberlake is officially dead,” starts off Timberlake.

“I sacrificed my digital life in order to give real life to millions of people who are affected by HIV and AIDS in Africa and India,” he added.
