Juicy J and Katy Perry lawsuit Dark Horse

Katy Perry quite contrary is what a group of Christian hip hop artists are saying when it comes to her hit song “Dark Horse” which features Memphis rapper Juicy J.

According to a lawsuit filed by Flame (Marcus Gray), Lecrae (Lecrae Moore), Da’ T.R.U.T.H. (Emanuel Lambert) and producer Chike Ojukwu, Katy Perry’s song is a rip-off of the Christian music song “Joyful Noise” from off Christian rapper Flame’s album “Our World Redeemed.”

The Christian hip hop group has fans of Flame to thank for finding out about the song.

Many fans were tweeting at Flame and Lecrae regarding the beat and song being stolen from them.

The lawsuit, which was filed in St. Louis, Missouri federal court, lists’ Katy Perry, Juicy J (Jordan Houston) as well as Capitol Records, songwriters Dr. Luke and Max Martin.
