K. Michelle Wants To Collab With Rapper Yo Gotti

K. Michelle, known now for her role on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, recently sat down in an interview, spoke about rappers and was asked what rapper she would like to collaborate with.

K. Michelle says she would like to work with Memphis rapper Yo Gotti.

“I would like to collaborate with Yo Gotti,” K. Michelle says in her short video moment with HipHopWired.com, adding “that’s my homie from Memphis, TN and we haven’t really gotten the opportunity to get in the studio and get something done.”

K. Michelle then revealed that she wishes she could have made it onto Gotti’s hit single 5 Star Chick. The Hot Rod produced track 5 Star Chick peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Rap Songs Chart and came along with remixes featuring Gucci Mane, Trina, and Nicki Minaj.

“When the 5 Star Chick record came out, yeah I wanted to be on the record, you know, it was rap, I’m an R&B singer so I couldn’t do that,” K. Michelle revealed regarding the beginning of her singing career in 2009.

Though she might have not been ready then, K. Michelle added “but I’m definitely ready to work with Yo Gotti [now].”
