News That Bobbi Kristina Was To Be Pronounced Dead The Day Whitney Died Is UNTRUE, Family Says
The news reports claiming that Bobbi Kristina Brown would be taken off life support on the day that her mother Whitney Houston died (Feb. 11) is not true according to statements released by a lawyer for Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown.
The stories that were circulating claimed that Bobbi Kristina, 21, was set to be pulled off her life support and pronounced dead on the same day of her mother’s death according to alleged family members who spoke to news sources.
Celebrity gossip site TMZ is one of the sites cited as reporting the news. The celebrity site still claims that it was members of the Brown family that informed them of the news.
While not specifically identifying the exact source, claims were that Cissy Houston – Whitney’s mother and Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother – was one of the family members who wanted to pull life support on the day of Whitney’s death as some sort of ‘eternal bond between mother and daughter.’
Currently, the Brown family are dealing with the unfortunate and emotional time surrounding the wait for Bobbi Kristina Brown to come out of her state of unresponsiveness while police are reportedly now dealing with the incident as ‘a criminal investigation.’
According to police, Bobbi Kristina, who was found face-down and unconscious in a bathtub half-filled with water, had some injuries that were discovered on her body which has led now to an investigation of possible foul play with some saying that police have their eyes on her boyfriend Nick Gordon, who was believed to have been married to Bobbi Kristina.
