Human Head and Hands Found In Bag, Memphis Man Arrested For Killing His Roommate

Memphis police have arrested a man named Michael W. Wilson, Jr., who they believe committed a gruesome crime after a human head and hands were discovered inside a bag near the Orange Mound area.

Wilson along with another man were in the backyard when Wilson went to carry a black bag which tore open exposing a human head at the home located on the 3800 block of Dunn in Memphis, TN.

Wilson, who is schizophrenic, reportedly pleaded to the witness to not tell on him, adding “I didn’t mean to kill him.”

Police were called and Wilson was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.

He is being held on a $2 million dollar bond as police continue to investigate why Wilson was carrying the bag with a human head and if and why he killed the man, who reportedly just recently moved in with Wilson a few days ago.

Currently, the identity of the victim, whose remains were found by police during a search of the house along with several other instruments used to dismember the body, is unknown.

Wilson is due in court September 22nd.
