Top Anticipated MTV 2014 VMAs Music Performances: Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce

MTV's 2014 Video Music Awards aka the VMAs is back and with some exciting artists and music performances for the popular awards show.

This year, the VMAs have performances scheduled by some of the hottest artists with some of the hottest songs out right now.

According to Google trends and Twitter trends, the most anticipated acts include Iggy Azalea, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift.



Other acts who have not been confirmed as performing are also big searches including Katy Perry, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Lorde, which the Royals singer is listed as presenting at this year's award.

Meanwhile, Memphis' own Lucy Hale is expected to host the pre-show opening up for the MTV Video Music Awards this year.

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards airs Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 8PM CST.
