Meek Mill Jail Sentence May Last Until September

rapper Meek Mill violates parole

After rapper Meek Mill was sentenced by a Philadelphia judge to prison for three to six months, there was still some hope that the rapper may get out earlier.

Sentenced earlier this month for parole violation for a 2009 gun and drug offense, Meek Mill was hoping to have another hearing that might have gotten him out of prison earlier for his three to six month sentence.

However, the judge has denied Meek Mill’s request for that hearing.

The rapper, who has a September album release date was trying to get an emergency hearing over the weekend with the judge that sentenced him for failing to provide a phone number and for booking concerts without permission, as reported on MemphisRap.com.

On top of that, the rapper was allegedly being disrespectful to the D.A.’s office over his Twitter.

So, when Meek Mill lawyers put in a request to the same judge for a new hearing, apparently she said her court schedule was booked until September.

Looks like Meek Mill will likely remain in jail until that time, at least.
