Love & Hip Hop Star K. Michelle Preps To Make Her Mark In New Musical, TV Show

Closing out 2013 with a chart topping album Rebellious Soul and an award for “Best New Artist” (Soul Train Awards), R&B singer K. Michelle is set to star in a new TV show and musical.

The “Love & Hip Hop” star, who was boosted on to another level of her career with her successful Rebellious Soul album, which charted at #2 on the Billboard 200, is set to star in a spin-off show of “Love & Hip Hop” entitled “No New Friends.”

K. Michelle says “No New Friends” is about her “progression as being a businesswoman,” and “a brand.”

The singer, who has been raising awareness for domestic violence, racism, and sexism, with her #RebelAgainst campaign, has ended the year with a new holiday music EP titled “Christmas Night.”

Along with starring in a new TV show, K. Michelle is also set to star in a new musical, reports Radio.com.

K. Michelle’s label Atlantic Records, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, confirmed the musical stating that more details will be coming soon.
