BET Awards 2012, Performances In Full Swing: Kanye West, Jay-Z, 2 Chainz, More

The 2012 BET Awards are in full swing following the arrival of celebs and stars on the BET Awards 2012 Red carpet and pre-show.

The show has started off with 2 Chainz, Kanye West, and a surprise performance by BET Awards 2012 host, film and television actor Samuel Jackson along with film producer Spike Lee.

The show which plans a full list of A+ stars such as Jay-Z, Beyonce, Chris Brown, D’Angelo, Nicki Minaj, Usher and more, has started out first with a performance by 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Pusha T performing Mercy with Kanye West following with a performance of “Theraflu.”

Following Kanye West’s performance was a performance by BET Awards 2012 host Samuel L. Jackson with Spike Lee performing their own version of ‘N-ggas In Paris.’

After the performances, an award for Best Group was awarded to Kanye West and Jay-Z for their collaboration on album Watch The Throne.

Kanye West walked to the stage after smiling at girlfriend Kim Kardashian and was surprised when Jay-Z walked behind him on the stage.

Following their ‘thank you’ speech, Kanye West ended the ‘thank you’ by giving a thanks to Maybach Music and Cash Money for their competition keeping things live.

More performances are set to kickoff at the 2012 BET Awards.
