Memphis based networking and marketing company SCM Global (aka Southern Coalition Movement), co-founders of the Knocdown-SCM Awards, recently came out along with members of the Memphis hip hop community in honor of Trayvon Martin during the time that a prayer vigil was held at the historical Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, TN.

As seen in the raw photo above, a shoot set-up by SCM included parts of the community coming together in a group pose, whilst SCM’s CEO J. Shields and others are seen crouched holding a newspaper with the words “Justice For Trayvon” boldly standing out on the newspaper and viewable in the picture.

The photo, which is reportedly a glimpse of what’s to come in a new issue of SCM’s Southern Xsposure Magazine, was shot in Memphis, TN at the Lorraine Hotel, home to the National Civil Rights Museum, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.

In related news, the 5th Annual Knocdown-SCM Awards 2012 have opened nominations for their next awards show expected to be held Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at Memphis’ Cannon Center, as reported on MemphisRap.com.
