Southern Belle Paula Deen Named In Sexual Harassment, Racial Slurs Lawsuit

Food Network’s Paula’s Home Cooking host Paula Deen is back in the limelight and it’s not for being a paid spokesperson for a pharmaceutical company which she failed to mention after revealing she had type 2 diabetes for more than 3 years earlier this year.

This time Paula Deen is named in a lawsuit along with her brother Earl ‘Bubba’ Piers for sexual harassment and racial slurs filed by Lisa Jackson, former general manager of their Savannah, Georgia restaurant Uncle Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House. Lisa Jackson has made some stunning accusations about the two whom she was employed with from 2005 to 2010.

Southern Belle, Paula Deen, 65, who usually makes an appearance at the annual Memphis In May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest allegedly made racists comments when Jackson questioned what attire should be worn for a catered event. Deen allegedly stated that she would like a bunch of little ni**ers to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts and black bow ties, like in the Shirley Temple days.

To add to the fuel, Paula Deen reportedly added, they used to tap dance around and this would make it a true Southern wedding.

“… wouldn’t it? But we can’t do that because the media would be on me about that.”

As for Paula Deen’s brother Earl ‘Bubba’ Piers, he allegedly made advances toward Lisa Jackson and would kiss and spit at her as well as go to indecent and lewd websites on his computer at work which is only the tip of the iceberg of what Jackson is claiming.

Jackson also added that Piers made comments about President Barack Obama regarding the oil spill that occurred saying Obama should be sent to the Gulf of Mexico so he could n***er-rig it.

This is just only a few things that are being mentioned from the lawsuit that is causing quite the conversation on and offline.

In the meantime, Paula Deen hasn’t responded to the accusations, while Deen’s attorneys call the allegations “baseless” and “false claims.”

This may likely turn into a settlement and a hush.
