Tennessee’s Largest ‘Weed Bust’; 300k+ Marijuana Plants Worth $400M Seized

Tennessee officials have seized thousands of marijuana plants in its largest ever ‘pot growing’ operation bust. Over 300,000 marijuana plants were seized and hauled away in dump trucks at a pot farm around Obion County, Tennessee.

The street value of the pounds and pounds of marijuana plants seized on the pot farm is worth an estimated $300 million with possible value close to $400 million.

The operation was no amateur gig either. Officials claim that the highly advanced operation included dug out tunnels through some of the hills and caves plus generators powering watering systems being pulled from nearby creeks.

What’s happening to all that dope?

According to Obion County Sheriff Jerry Vastbinder in reports, there was over “50 yards of dope” burned. Yes, burned.

Let’s hope there were no innocent non-pot smokers in the area of the drifting smoke.

In related news, Tennessee is reportedly ranked in the top 3 weed-producing states.
