Salt-N-Pepa Bringing Old School To Mid-South In ‘Legends of Hip-Hop’ Tour

Salt-N-Pepa are coming to the Mid-South for their Legends of Hip-Hop Tour.

Many of their Hip-hops legends' friends are coming to the Mid-South with them. They are all performing at the Desoto Civic Center.

Salt-N-Pepa are coming and bringing many other legends with them including Kurtis Blow, MC Lyte, Biz Markie, and Doug E. Fresh. They are bringing back Hip-Hop's Golden Age.



The tickets to the show went on sale Dec. 17 of 2010 and are already sold out.

They have already performed in Washington D.C and are set to perform in St. Louis, Chicago and Atlanta. The tour was made to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the debut of Hot, Cool, & Vicious.

The 'Legends of Hip-Hop' Tour is set to take place at the Desoto Civic Center on Sunday, March 13 at 6:30PM.

New Changes Coming For Beale Street

Beale Street will be getting some improvements following a judge ruling that John Elkington's Performa Entertainment Real Estate, Inc was in compliance with the 52 year lease of Beale Street with the Beale Street Development Corporation (BSDC). The ruling will now allow Performa Entertainment Real Estate to transfer the lease of the infamous street to the City of Memphis who will gain control over its management and development.
