Five Guys Burgers and Fries To Open First Chain In Memphis

Five Guys Burgers and Fries will be opening their first restaurant chain in Memphis very soon.

The first location will be at 1315 Ridgeway across from Memphis University School.

The owner is expecting to open the fast casual restaurant in May this year and is looking to open as many as seven other locations. He wants Memphis to have as many as we can handle.



Five Guys, who has a reputation for their fresh ingredients, claims to not even have a freezer in the restaurant.

The franchise has 750 locations in forty states and will now have a home in Memphis also.

New Changes Coming For Beale Street

Beale Street will be getting some improvements following a judge ruling that John Elkington's Performa Entertainment Real Estate, Inc was in compliance with the 52 year lease of Beale Street with the Beale Street Development Corporation (BSDC). The ruling will now allow Performa Entertainment Real Estate to transfer the lease of the infamous street to the City of Memphis who will gain control over its management and development.
