Angelina Jolie Gives Birth to Twins: Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline


Actress Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have given birth to a twin boy and twin girl, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline on Saturday at the La Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France.

Movie actress and celebrity star Angelina Jolie Voight, 33 and her partner movie actor, William Bradley “Brad” Pitt, 44, gave birth to twins on Saturday at 6:27 PM CEST or 11:27 AM CST at the La Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France (Southern France). According to the stars doctor, Dr. Michel Sussmann, Angelina Jolie gave birth to son Knox Leon first and daughter Vivienne Marcheline followed one minute later by Caesarean section. Knox weighed a tad bit over 5 pounds at 5.03 lbs while Vivienne weighed in at 5 pounds.

Reportedly, Angelina Jolie’s caesarean was moved from its original date “for medical reason” to ensure that the twins were born in felicitously condition in which no further details were given as to why.

Prior to the birth of the twins, on last week, the mayor of Nice, France, Christian Estrosi announced that Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline will be honorary citizens of Nice, France for the rest of their lives and will have the opportunity to apply for French citizenship when they turn eighteen.

In related news, the couple has already sold exclusive rights for the twins first picture(s) at a price of $11 million which will allegedly be donated to charity.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt already have four children, three adopted children Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3, and one biological child with Brad Pitt, Shiloh, 2.
