Jermaine Dupri Says Him and Janet Are Ready for A Baby

Jermaine Dupri Mauldin, 35, has stated that Janet Jackson is ready to have a baby and he’s excited to start a family with the singer/actor.

Jermaine Dupri Mauldin, 35, has stated that Janet Jackson is ready to have a baby and he’s excited to start a family with the singer/actor and doesn’t care if it’s a boy or a girl.

“It really doesn’t matter,” he stated at event honoring rapper Nelly. “Janet would be a great mom. She was around so many brothers and sisters all her life, so she’s got to know what that is [like]. And her mom is a great mother,” he told People.

The producer and record executive told People Sunday after a dinner party hosted by New Era and Belvedere Vodka at West Hollywood’s STK restaurant, “Yeah soon, right after the tour.” Janet Jackson, 42, North American tour Rock Witchu starts this September.

Dupri went on to tell the magazine how great a companion Janet Jackson is. “The greatest thing in life is just to have a friend. When I have problems in life, I share them with her. When she has a problem, she comes to me.”

Dupri already has a daughter Shaniah from a past relationship.
