David Banner preps to release the album The Greatest Story Ever Told in stores July 15th and says it time to ”push his career to the next level”.
Mississippi bred rapper David Banner born Levell Crump is ready to “get it” with his latest album “The Greatest Story Ever Told” which is set to release come July 15. The “dashing” and intelligent producer/rapper feels that his fourth solo album will be his chance to finally “push his career to the next level,” as he put it in an interview on SOHH’s Guest Star blog.
This time around Banner played it smart by putting out his latest single “Get Like Me” featuring one of R&B’s hottest young stars, Chris Brown, along with Yung Joc and Jim Jones which followed his first single “Speaker” also known as “9mm” that was released in 2007 which features Lil Wayne, Akon and Snoop Dogg.
Other features to expect on the album include Jazze Pha, Chamillionaire, UGK, Young Dro, Kandi Burruss, D.G. Yola, Chopper City Boyz, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, amongst others. Producers on the album include Lil Jon, Akon, Bow, Cool & Dre, David Banner, Get Cool 3000, Nitti and Warren Campbell.
