Raymond Stone, 50, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder after setting his girlfriend, LuJuana Smith, on fire by dousing her with gasoline and then throwing a lighter onto her after she reportedly stated she was leaving him.

(Memphis, TN) – Raymond Stone, 50, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder after setting his girlfriend, LuJuana Smith, on fire by dousing her with gasoline and then throwing a lighter onto her after she reportedly stated she was leaving him.

At around 3:00 am Monday morning, her neighbor Marilyn Maxwell, stated that Smith ran over to her home for help. Neighbors stated Smith was screaming and knocking on doors and that Stone chased her as she ran from her house to the one next door
