“I rapped on a rock-rap track on the intro and I am singing a little on the bonus track,” states Boo in her talk with MemphisRap.com.

Though Gangsta Boo’s highly anticipated album “Forever Gangsta” still has fans long awaiting, Gangsta Boo is hosting a new mixtape “Gangsta Rock” presented by DJ Chief Rocka, which Boo describes as something to please the fans until her album drops. “It’s fun and different,” Gangsta Boo told MemphisRap.com. There’s even a surprise singing debut of Boo on the new mixtape. “I rapped on a rock-rap track on the intro and I am singing a little on the bonus track,” states Boo in her talk with MemphisRap.com.

DJ Chief Rocka, out of Cashville, met up with Gangsta Boo at the Southern Entertainment Awards, and the two seemed to have hit it off, which led to the new mixtape. “I met Chief Rocka at the SEA’s and we decided that we wanted to do a tape together being that he’s from TN (Nashville) and I’m from Memphis, it sounded like a good idea. This is actually my second real mix cd that a DJ has done for me through me,” states Gangsta Boo.

The mixtape “Gangsta Rock” was released from Chief Rocka around July 4th, and features Boo’s infamous freestyles and gutta tracks including an exclusive song from rapper Kristyle titled “Ride It Like A Cowgirl” produced by Drumma Boy of Drum Squad

In related news, Gangsta Boo states she will be releasing her highly anticipated album “Forever Gangsta” which will be co-produced by Drumma Boy of the Drum Squad, in due time. “I don’t want to rush it as bad as I want an album out, I want it to be pleasing to my fans,” states Boo.

The former First Lady of Three-6-Mafia aka “Queen of Memphis” also revealed to MemphisRap.com that she’s working on a new book about her life with and without Three 6 Mafia, so stay tuned.
