50 Cent to pay $15K in Child Support, Young Buck ‘I’m Not Leaving G-Unit’


On this past Monday, New York Post reported that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson was ordered to pay child support for his 10 year-old son Marquise Diamond Jackson.

On this past Monday, New York Post reported that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson was ordered to pay child support for his 10 year-old son Marquise Diamond Jackson. The G-Unit rapper/CEO was ordered to immediately pay a sum of $10,000 immediately to Shaniqua Tompkins to support the rapper’s son after failing to provide funds during the upbringing of the child.

Shaniqua Tompkins was awarded the sum of $15,000 by Support Magistrate Aletha V. Fields-Ferraro for monthly expenses based on a number of factors determined by the courts.

According to additional reports 50 Cent filed with the Family Court in February to avoid being demanded outrageous requests from his former girlfirend.

The rapper is expected to be back in court June 11 for the case.

50 Cent is just one of many celebrities ordered to pay child support based on their successful and high-rolling lifestyle. Sean “P. Diddy” Combs in April of 2005 was ordered to pay Misa Hylton-Brimm $21,782 a month for his son Justin. A Westchester Family Court judge originally had awarded Diddy’s ex $35,000 a month, as well as $398,451 in back support and $60,000 for legal expenses.

In related news, according to reports, rapper Young Buck recently cleared up rumors of him leaving G-Unit and said they were not true. The rapper said quote, “I ain’t going nowhere.. I’m G-Unit to the bone gristle.”

“Don’t ever think that Buck is not a part of G-Unit or that 50 and Buck (are) falling out. You’ll never get that,” Buck added.

Young Buck’s latest album “Buck The World” is in stores now and features new single “Get Buck” with appearances by 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, 8Ball and MJG, Bun B, Young Jeezy, T.I. and others.

50 Cent, on the other hand, is reportedly expected to drop a new album this year entitled “Curtis S.S.K.” which was first expected to be titled “Before I Self Destruct” but 50 Cent reportedly, is saving “Before I Self Destruct” for his last album on Interscope to be dropped in ’08.
