Memphis, TN (November 6, 2006) — MemphisRap.com is excited to welcome professional reviewer and writer Jabari Oliver. MemphisRap.com has brought on Jabari Oliver as an Associate Music Reviewer, who will be giving opportunities to artists and labels, by providing professional, high quality music reviews. The main genres Jabari Oliver will be covering is Rap/Hip-Hop and R&B.

Jabari Oliver who is an established writer and a former on-air personality for his University radio station WURC-FM and now a Memphis Radio Group Account Executive, begun his writing career at the age of 10, where he became a published poet and eventually garnered 3 different publications in respectable hard-covered national anthologies. Due to his love for music and following in the footsteps of his father a nationally known reviewer with a Ph.D. in ethnomusicology and a mother who holds a Doctor of Education Ph.D, he couldn’t help but to have a love for music and writing. “We’re excited to have Jabari Oliver as a part of the team. I think his regular reviews will be not only entertaining, but educational and provide indepth thoughts and views on CD’s as a whole. Jabari has excellent writing skills, street sensibilities and is in touch with music. I think a lot of artists, labels and music fans will appreciate his skills. Jabari Oliver majored in English and Mass Communications and carries a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism.
