Legendary rapper E-40 has been RIAA certified gold this week with album release “Ghetto Report Card” which features production by ATL’s Lil Jon, E-40’s son Droop-e of the Pharmasuticles and others.

Following the album’s first single “Tell Me When 2 Go,” which features rapper Keak Da Sneak, the current top single off the album “My Ghetto Report Card” is “U and Dat” (Billboard Top 10 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs) featuring T-Pain & Kandi Girl, which was co-written by Memphis’ own Al Kapone (writer/producer of 2005 Hustle & Flow’s “Whoop Dat Trick” and “It Ain’t Over”).

“Actually, I co-wrote three songs on the (Ghetto Report Card) album, including “I’m the Man” featuring Mike Jones, and Gimme Head featuring myself,” stated Kapone to Memphisrap.com. “When I first found out, I was like ohh sh*t he went gold. Then, I was like yeaahhhhhhh.”

Now 24 weeks on the charts, the Ghetto Report Card (Sick Wid’ It/BME’/Warner Bros.), which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200, is still holding it down at number 91 on the Billboard 200 moving down from number 66 last week. Also on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, the album maintains a spot on the charts coming in at number 30 down from 19 last week.
