The project emerged as a result of Loud A&R’s traveling the country and discovering great music happening locally. DJ Paul & Juicy JLoud thought that if they put all of these groups on one great compilation and teamed up with DJ Paul and Juicy J everyone would win; the artists, the label, and most importantly the consumer. Paul and Juicy wanted to get involved when they heard the idea and the music. As great creative entrepreneurs they recognized the quality of the music in the South and wanted to support fellow Southern artists.

Revolutionary music.” And Miami-born YUNG-N, formerly known as Twig, who was featured on a single and video for “Whoa!
